    GIFTED ATHLETE SUPPORT PROGRMME

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 

  • Meeting the criteria does not guarantee an award or acceptance onto the GASP Entry Programme 
  • Grade reduction offers made through the GASP Entry Programme cannot be deferred and must be utilised in the same academic year in which it is made
  • Priority will be given to student athletes who compete in a BUCS recognised sport 
  • GASP students are expected to contribute to a University Sports Club and BUCS programme 
  • Returning applicants will be required to demonstrate evidence of contribution to the BUCS programme 
  • The awarding panel made out of representatives from the University of Chichester and Students’ Union, have the final decision over Gifted Athlete Awards. No appeals will be heard 
  • The panel reserve the right to make changes based on exceptional circumstances 
  • Student Athletes are expected to have an exemplary class attendance and maintain satisfactory academic and sporting progress to have continued access to the support programme 
  • If information supplied in an application, or to support an application, is found to be incorrect, the University reserves the right to withdraw the ward from that individual. Furthermore, if any monies have been received in these circumstances the applicants agree to pay back the University the full amount of monies received within 90 days of being notified of the requirement to do so
