The University of Chichester Benchball Society is a new society set up last year!! We are passionate about having fun whilst playing a sport which is easy to learn and exciting to play. We are an inclusive, vibrant group of people who can’t wait for you to join this society, which is a self-taught and coached team, we will work together to help each other learn the game, develop our skills and improve our abilities. We all hope for Benchball society to continue to flourish this year.
To ensure Benchball society is a supportive and strong team, the social element of the society is important as we want to encourage friendship and community within the group. Socials will take place regularly throughout each semester providing members the opportunity to let loose and have fun with the team as well as frequent events taking place year-round such as picnics, meals out and day trips for everyone to enjoy!
Our training will consist of warmups and playing lots and lots of benchball! We will push each other to stay active and healthy as well as letting our hair down and having a bit of fun. We all know how stressful university can get and that is why we strive to ensure our training gives the chance to grow as an individual and to have a safe space. We are a very passionate group of people who all want to dedicate our time and effort to bringing back the childhood memories of the game Benchball.
