Men's Hockey Give It A Go

Hello everyone

As Freshers Week approaches, I’d like to tell you about Men’s Hockey, one of the excellent sports clubs we have on offer here at Chichester.

Men’s Hockey is a welcoming and inclusive club who enjoy spending time together on and off the pitch. We had a fantastic season last year, winning by considerable margins against Reading, Royal Holloway, Brighton and Kings College London, eventually winning our league.

We host WSIHE Wednesday socials for a bit of fun and some games as well as a dress-up theme each week before heading to the SU as a team. Some of our other social events have included Christmas party (Wetherspoons and Bowling) and team end-of-year awards.

We pride ourselves on being an inclusive and accepting group and welcome all regardless of background or experience in hockey and sport - our elected committee pride themselves on making the club a positive and relaxed atmosphere for all and ensure all members of the club feel they are part of the team.

We are hosting a FREE taster event on Tuesday 27th September at the Astro Turf (on the Bishop Otter campus) at 6-7:30pm so come along if you’d like to give it a go - players of all and no experience are welcome to get involved.
