Job Title: Arrivals Crew – Student Staff
Pay: From £12.81 per hour (inc holiday pay)
Shift Patterns: 8am to midday & midday to 3pm
Days: Friday 18th Sept, Saturday 19th Sept, Sunday 20th Sept
Locations: Stockbridge Halls, Fishbourne Halls, Westgate Halls
Reports to: UoC Campus Services Assistant

Function of the Post:
Arrivals Crew are responsible for creating a welcoming and exciting atmosphere on campus over arrivals period.
The core role of the arrivals team is to help students move-in to their new accommodation – this will involve lifting and shifting belongings.
As a member of the Arrivals Crew you will be expected to provide tips about university life, commuting/living in halls and answers questions/signpost where required.
Responsibilities:

Be an approachable and welcoming face to new students.

Work well within a team.

Help new students move-in to their accommodation.

Be aware of the Welcome Week Schedule and encourage participation.

Report any concerns/feedback to the Campus Services Assistant as soon as possible, whilst maintaining confidentiality.

Be a responsible role model. Maintain positive communication.

Please note that helping unload, lift and carry belongings is an essential part of the role.
