Welcome to Chichester’s very own ACS (African Caribbean Society) !
ACS is about community, friendship and culture. Everyone has a voice, and everyone should be able to have it heard. Our aim is to create a safe yet fun environment for everyone and anyone coming to celebrate and share their culture. We hope to engage in a tight-knit manner and make a welcoming space for anybody who would like to join. So, if you want to join the family and express your culture, or if you would like to learn more about your comrades from around the world and explore diverse lifestyles, then please do come along, we would love to have you!
“The bond that links your true family is not one of blood, but of respect and joy in each other’s life.”
-Richard Bach, Illusions
And to welcome you, we have our lovely president, the iconic Pink baddie, all the way from Zambia and Zimbabwe, Mary Musuka! An honour was placed upon us as The Duke Dennis of Chichester, Joshua Kajerero, came forward as the vice president for the upcoming year! For all the Disney lovers out there, ACS managed to get a real life Moana from the small island of Mauritius to look out for you all, Léa Spours our very own welfare officer! In charge of fun and media in the roles of social secretaries are the capable Shanana and Wray&Lene! (Or Victoria and Carlene as per their birth certificates)
If you would like to contact any of them, here is the list of their emails! Or you can always find any of them on the ACS Instagram page!
