The Lacrosse Club provides a very fast, fun and enjoyable game and we invite all to come along and experience a new sport.
Lacrosse is a growing sport across the university, and we hope to make it even bigger. There are no requirements to join, no tryouts we want everyone to get a chance doesn’t matter who you are, everyone is welcome. It doesn’t matter if you’ve played for years or if you’ve never even heard of the sport before. At the moment we are only a women’s team however we are striving to have a men’s team. Our main goal is to allow our members to have a space where they can just forget everything and play a sport. We do also play BUCS with other universities.
We also try to get together often outside of training with socials after games which include dressing up in random costumes as well as getting together for meals and nights out. We understand the huge transition it is going to university as the society is run by students and we hope to make that easier for our members so that the can create positive memories and lasting friendships.
