Men’s hockey at Chichester University is a very welcoming community who operate just like a family. We are a small university club compared to other unis but that doesn’t stop us from winning! Last season we won our league getting promoted to tier 1 and had a cup run extending to the quarter finals. Our players play for clubs across the South Coast at the weekends and we are closely associated with Chichester hockey club.
Don’t be worried about ability as our club boasts players who play in the top leagues in the South and players who have never picked up a stick before so come along and try it out! We train weekly and have regular matches on Wednesdays.
As well as hockey we are a very sociable club hosting weekly social events as a team and with women’s hockey! We also host parties, Christmas dinners, attend Bournemouth 7’s in the summer, a festival 7 a side tournament and we also last year went on tour to Spain as a team! All of our current team would say joining a society is one of the best things about university so why not try it!
