About Us
University of Chichester Women’s Hockey:
University of Chichester Women’s Hockey welcomes players of all abilities, whether you’re new to hockey or have been playing for years. We offer regular weekly training, BUCS competition and a social side to the club, giving members plenty of opportunities to get involved throughout the year.
Hockey:
Our team competes in BUCS South Eastern Tier 1A, following promotion last season, and will also compete in the BUCS Women’s National Trophy during the 2026/27 season. We have regular weekly training and BUCS fixtures throughout the year, alongside Varsity and other fixtures.
The club is open to players with different levels of experience, whether you’re looking to compete at a higher level, improve your hockey or simply continue playing while at university.
Socials:
There’s more to the club than hockey. We run regular socials and team events throughout the year, including nights out, themed socials, meals and other activities. It’s a good way to meet people within the club and get to know your teammates away from the pitch.
Fundraising & Events:
We also get involved in fundraising and charity events throughout the year. Last season we supported Movember, Breast Cancer awareness and Oddballs, including taking part in a 24-hour hockey challenge alongside Men’s Hockey.
We’re hoping to organise more fundraising events and challenges throughout the 2026/27 season.
