At the Law Society we welcome all students who have a key interest in law, whether you’re studying it or just want to get involved, the society provides students with amazing opportunities such as networking, practicing advocacy skills, and attending trips across the country to witness what law is like first hand, giving students real life experience of what court cases look like, as well as showcasing alternative careers students can have after university that are outside the traditional route. In 2026/2027, we aim to bring law students closer together as a community, with planned socials and themed nights at WISHE, but also with the help of our amazing welfare officer, support those who are struggling with the stresses of studying law.
