Student voice

You have a choice. You have a voice. Your students’ union is led by students, for students. As a student, you choose: How it is led; Who is leading it; The services it offers; The activities it organises. Your voice can be heard in many ways. You can exercise your democratic right in the way you prefer. Voting or volunteering? Campaigning or complaining? Either way, your student voice is a powerful asset. Remember to use yours.

  • Campaigns The SU Officers run a number of campaigns, If you are passionate about making a positive difference or creating awareness for people, communities or the environment then join us and get involved.
  • Commitment Charter Students. Staff. The SU. The University. We are all guided by the Community Commitment Charter.
  • Complaints Complaining is campaigning. Sharing your unhappiness is the starting point for creating positive change.
  • Course Reps Course Reps are student volunteers who work with staff and students to improve the academic experience of everyone studying on their course
  • Elections Your vote is vital. Every year, you are invited to vote in the SU elections. This allows you to choose the officers who will lead your students’ union.
  • Feedback Your feedback is fuel. It keeps your students’ union running in the right direction.
  • Officers Officers are current or recent students who lead the students’ union. Together, they ensure the students’ union continually benefits your life while you study at the University of Chichester.
