When making a purchase from or via UCSU for any product, including joining clubs and societies (membership fees), payments will be processed through Sage Pay, a division of Sage (UK) Ltd. All payments are made to UCSU.
UCSU does not store credit card details and uses industry standard SSL encryption to ensure the safety of your data.
All payments are made in a live environment - upon clicking 'Pay Now', your credit or debit card will be billed with the agreed amount and your order will be immediately processed.
Once your order has been completed, you should receive a confirmation email from UCSU.
These terms shall be governed by English law and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts. Nothing in these terms shall exclude liability for fraudulent misrepresentation.
These terms and conditions shall apply to all transactions conducted through this online ticket payment cart. Read them before you place an order and we also recommend that you print out a copy for your records. Please note that in these terms and conditions "you", "your", "yours" and "yourself" are references to any person ordering tickets from the website, and "we", "our" and "ours" are references to UCSU.
Each customer can buy up to a maximum of 6 tickets per person per event. Any tickets purchased beyond this quantity will be deemed void and will not gain the bearer access to the event.
We may change these terms and conditions from time to time without notice. Any changes will apply to subsequent orders.
To place an order for any tickets you must follow the online instructions, and make sure all details submitted are accurate to the best of your knowledge. If you submit erroneous details then you may not receive the correct order at the correct address.
When you place an order you are offering to purchase tickets subject to these terms and conditions. We will not be bound to supply any tickets ordered until we have notified you of our acceptance of an order. We are entitled to reject an order, and if we do so we will inform you that we have rejected it and also the reason for rejecting it.
Tickets are sent via a reference numbered email, which you must use as stated on the email. You must show valid proof of ID to redeem entry into the event or to collect physical tickets from our box office. Please allow two working days between ordering and collecting your ticket(s).
Last admission is 23.15hrs
Over 18s Only - Student ID is required by members, guests must have a Driving Licence or Passport. No other form of ID is accepted.
Guests will be required to be signed in by a student; this can be done prior to the event and handed in on entry. Full responsibility for the actions of the guests is taken by the student signing them in.
UCSU reserves the right to refuse admission, especially if patrons are believed to be too intoxicated or ID is not acceptable.
Dress code is SMART for all balls – NO sportswear, jeans or combats
Normal licensing laws apply.
ALL TICKETS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE
All tickets sold for SU events, are subject to the terms and conditions set out on the SU website and to the venue regulations. A breach of any of these conditions may render your ticket invalid.
All sales are final, and refunds are not available on tickets once they have been purchased (including duplicates or purchases made in error, tickets bought for the wrong event or non-attendance due to illness or injury). Please note that this is standard practice at every entertainments venue in the UK.
In the event of UCSU completely cancelling an event (as opposed to rescheduling) tickets will be refunded to the original purchaser at the price paid, via the means paid less the booking fee. Tickets will not be refunded under any other circumstances.
UCSU will not refund tickets if we have to cancel or change the event in any way because of unusual or unforeseeable circumstances beyond our control (Force Majeure). These can include, for example, war, riot, industrial dispute, terrorist activity and its consequences, natural or nuclear disaster, fire, adverse weather conditions, epidemics and pandemics, unavoidable technical problems with venues.
The event has been stopped whilst in progress due to circumstances beyond our control, which may be deemed as too unsafe to continue. In this instance, a decision will be made by management as to whether refunds will be offered to those with tickets. However, refunds will only be given in special circumstances and as approved by management.
All tickets advertised for sale are subject to availability. In the event of us being unable to supply the tickets ordered, we will inform you as soon as possible. Please note that booking fees are NOT refundable.
In all instances management’s decision is final, based on the individual circumstances, and not open to discussion.
THERE ARE NO OTHER INSTANCES IN WHICH A REFUND MAY BE OFFERED. If you have a question or query, then please contact the UCSU Directly.
For events with physical tickets such as the Summer Ball, Graduation Ball or Sports Awards, it is the responsibility of the individual purchaser to keep their ticket safe once it has been collected. Please note that replacement tickets will not be issued in the event of their loss or damage, and will need to be repurchased in this instance. It is advised that you write your name and Student number on the back of your ticket so that it can be returned if handed in.
To attend the event you must either be a University of Chichester (UoC) graduate of the year being celebrated, a current UoC student or a guest of either. Each UoC graduate can sign in 1 guest for the Graduation Ball, current UoC students can sign in up to 2 guests. Full responsibility for the actions of the guests is taken by the student/graduate signing them in.
The distrubution of tickets will be communicated to individuals when purchasing the ticket online.
The management reserves right of admission to either venue. This is performed in line with our policies and licensing law.
All members of the sports federation (including team therapists) are welcome; there are no limits on club numbers. Guests, unless invited by management, are not allowed at this event.
Tickets cannot be resold. If you purchase a ticket and cannot go please return it to the SU Activities office and a refund will be given at managements discretion.
Places are limited and tickets will be sold on a first come first serve basis!

All goods are advertised for sale subject to availability. In the event of us being unable to supply the goods ordered, we will inform you as soon as possible. Where goods are unavailable for any reason, we may propose to provide you with substitute goods of equivalent quality and price. Should any goods ordered not be available or any substitute goods not be to your reasonable satisfaction, we ask that you return the goods to us at your expense. If you have already paid for the substituted goods or any goods that are not available (for example, where you have paid by personal cheque), a full refund of the purchase price will be given.
Sometimes product specifications from the manufacturer may change. In this event, we will do our best to provide a substitute of the same or better specifications at the same price. If you do not wish to accept this substitution, you may return it to us at our expense for a full refund of the purchase price.
All sizes and measurements shown on the website are approximate.
We try to ensure that the prices indicated on the website are up to date and accurate. However, we accept no liability for any errors and omissions and the final price of goods is the price in force at the time of us accepting your order. If a product has been listed at a lower price by mistake and you have ordered that product, we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option to either reconfirm your order at the correct price or to cancel it. If we are unable to contact you we will treat the order as cancelled. If you cancel and have already paid for the goods, a full refund will be issued.
All goods are bought with an unconditional 7 day money back guarantee in accordance with your rights under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2014. In order to return goods under your money back guarantee, you must email us by using the contact us page or write to us within 7 working days of delivery of the goods, and you must arrange returning the goods to us at our expense. We will refund the sums paid for the goods delivered to you as soon as possible, but in any event within 30 days of you giving notice to us of your intention to return the goods. If so requested, we may collect the goods being returned but the cost of collection will be charged to you and may be deducted from any refund given.
Postage and Packaging
Unless the goods are collection only, goods will normally be delivered within 10 working days of us accepting your order to addresses within the United Kingdom, within 15 working days to addresses within the European Union, or within 30 working days to addresses outside the European Union. We will contact you by email if delivery is likely to be delayed beyond these periods, giving you the option to cancel your order.
Postage and packing shall be charged in addition to the price of the goods themselves and will vary according to the delivery address, weight and size of the goods ordered, and the method of postage preferred. Full payment for any goods ordered must be made by credit or debit card in advance of delivery. All prices are in UK pounds sterling. We will reserve payment from your card at the time we receive your order.
The conversion of your currency to UK sterling may be subject to exchange rate fluctuations. Orders may be subject to import duties, taxes and customs processing fees in your country. If you are unsure if your parcel will be subject to such fees you should contact your local customs or postal authority. Any such fees are solely the responsibility of the parcel recipient and you are responsible for paying these fees.
All goods dispatched by us must be signed for upon delivery. In the absence of a signature, you may be required to collect the goods from us at your own expense.
Graduation/Custom clothing items are non-returnable and non-refundable so please make sure you have chosen the correct item before completing your purchase. If your clothing is damaged or faulty on receipt please contact us to request a replacement of product within 14 days of collection. If you're not satisfied with other products you've purchased, please return the item(s) for an exchange or refund. You must email us first and inform us of the reason for a return and tell us your Order Confirmation Number. We will then provide you with further instructions.
Shipping and Insurance costs are not refundable. There is also a re-stocking fee for all returns we receive within 60 days from the date your order was shipped (charged in UK pounds sterling), which is a 20% of item(s) original purchase price. Any returns received by us after 60 days from the date your order was shipped will be refunded with a deduction of the original shipping costs plus a 'late' fee (charged in UK pounds sterling), which is a 60% of item(s) original purchase price.
All returns must be in 100% new condition, not worn, nor washed and all tags in place. Please ensure returned item(s) is packaged safely, as we cannot accept damaged returns. We will assess all returned item's condition and refuse any damaged, worn or washed items. Any costs associated with sending such refused items back to you are your responsibility.
When returning goods, please ensure that you send returned goods back using recorded and insured delivery, so you have proof of posting. Any costs associated with the return of items by you to us are your responsibility, including costs of sending exchanged / or refused items back to you.
To cancel an order, please contact us immediately. Cancelled orders that haven't been processed will be refunded with a deduction of a cancellation fee (charged in UK pounds sterling), which is 10% of the order(s) total price. Cancellation fee is charged to cover administrative costs and transaction fees involved in the cancellation of order(s).

Unfortunately, we are unable to accept cancellations for products that have already been shipped and our Return Policy will apply in that case.
While we will take all appropriate technical and organisational measures to keep your personal and financial details secure, unless we are found to have been negligent we do not accept liability for any losses due to the unauthorised access by any person of any information provided to us by you.
We accept no liability for any loss or corruption of data held on your computer, or for any other loss or damage of any kind that occurs to your computer as a result of you accessing our website.
This agreement shall be governed by the law of England and Wales.
The parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts for the resolution of all disputes arising out of or in connection with this agreement.
These terms and conditions shall constitute the entire agreement between the parties. No variation of these terms and conditions shall be valid unless it is in writing and signed by the parties.

UCSU will accept no responsibility for any loss or damage of whatever nature arising from the use of, or inability to use, this site, or from any error or omission in information contained in the site.
