Tell us a little about yourself, what are your interests and what is your background?
I’m love my sport! I’m very involved locally within football playing for Pagham FC and coaching at Chichester City FC. Away from this I enjoy socialising with mates and made the most of every night out the uni had to offer! I believe the social aspect to University is just as important as the academic as you will never get a better opportunity to meet new people, experience different things and make memories you’ll never forget.

What are your manifesto points this year?
One of my aims is to bring the university closer together socially. Within our societies I’ve experienced incredible togetherness and truly special bonds that will last well beyond our time in Chichester. I firmly believe this is our biggest strength being a small campus and is often the reason we punch above our weight when competing with other unis. That being said, I’m yet to really see a strong togetherness across campuses and societies which is why I aim to host more events involving different societies, promoting healthy competition and ultimately developing a sense of belonging for everyone in our WSIHE spirit.
I also aim to develop the Students’ Union as a space for all to relax and socialise. I’m planning to explore different uses of the space we have, as well as different activities we can offer proving something that appeals to all students. For this to be possible representation is key, so I’m keen to immerse myself in the student community and continue to develop my understanding of what students want
How have you been involved with the SU during your time at Chi Uni?
I’ve been actively involved within the football society over the past 3 years captaining and managing sides as well as being President of the society in my final year. This has given me a strong insight into how the Students’ Union operates and gives me confidence I can enhance the student experience.
What are you are looking forward to achieving with your role?
I’m coming off the best 3 years that I wouldn’t change for the world and now I want to help everyone find their place and live their uni experience to the max. I know everyone’s journey is unique, but we’re here to make it happen, whatever your journey looks like!
So please speak to us, help us understand what we can change, how we can support you better, because we genuinely care!
