Life at university can be a bit of a whirlwind and sometimes you may be finding your studies difficult or feel that complications in your personal life are impacting on your education. We are here to help.

Your Welfare

We work closely with the University’s Student Support and Wellbeing team and other departments who provide excellent specialist services  to help you through any troubled times.

Life at university can be a bit of a whirlwind and sometimes you may be finding your studies difficult or feel that complications in your personal life are impacting on your education. There are many issues that you could (but hopefully won’t) face during your time at University and we are here to help you through it all. Whatever challenges you might be facing, on or off campus, the highly trained, experienced and friendly staff at the University will be on hand to help. Student Welfare is at the heart of the SU and we exist to make sure you’re well supported whilst you study, whether that’s offering academic advice, helping you look after your finances, finding a quality place to live or just keeping you safe in the city.

The SU StaffOfficers and Welcome Reps are also here to help you settle in, so look out for your rep and SU team at the start of the year.
