SU Sport Administrator

 

Responsible for: Administration of Sports, Activities Office Cover and Enquiry response / Referral

Hours: Between 10-16 hours per week. Must be avaliable to work on Wednesday, Thursday and occassion weekends

Employment: 3 Month Fixed Term Contract (September to December)

Salary: £7.62 per hour basic rate plus Holiday Pay

Location: Activities Office, Students' Union, Chichester Campus

SU Sport are looking to recruit a part-time Sports, the role is customer facing and will include supporting the administration of BUCS, SU Sport Events and general Sport administration within the Students’ Union. With up to 40 fixtures being played on a BUCS Wednesday, this is a sometimes fast and furious environment, but is extremely rewarding area of work.

The role is ideally suited for a candidate who is looking for an introduction to a career in the Sports industry or has a proven track record in Administration. Although the initial contract is for 3 months there may be scope to extend the contract.

Location: University of Chichester, Bishop Otter Campus, Chichester, PO19 6PE

Hours: Monday 6pm to 7.30pm, and ideally Wednesdays BUCS fixtures as required

Pay: Dependant on experience

Contract: Service Level Agreement

The University of Chichester Men’s Hockey Club are looking to recruit a head coach on a self-employed basis for the 2017/18 BUCS season.

Although the coaching position predominately focuses on the performance of the 1st team, the head coach will oversee and assist the development of the men’s 2nd within training sessions.

The coach must hold a minimum of a Level 2 coaching qualification, have a proven track record, and able to implement a well-planned and structured coaching programme that will be focused on driving the performance of the team.

The coach must be available to lead training sessions on a Monday from 6pm to 7.30pm from September to April. Although not essential, the head coach ideally will attend BUCS matches on Wednesday’s as required.

Students' Union - Hub Staff

Location: The Hub - Students’ Union, Bognor Regis Campus and Zee Bar, Chichester Campus when required.

Hours: Variable (This will include evening and weekends as required, exact working hours flexible/negotiable). The Bar is open 7 days a week (in term time) from 11am-12am Sun-Thurs & 11am-2am Fri & Sat so flexibility will be required. 

You will be employed on the condition you are available, if required, to work: 

MONDAY, WEDNESDAY & SATURDAY NIGHTS. 

FRESHERS WEEK & FUNCTIONS: SUMMER BALL, GRADUATION BALL, XMAS BALL, RAG RACE, SPORTS AWARDS & LAST DAY OF TERM

The hours offered are flexible to fit around your course work and the working environment. Although it's a busy role, it's both fun and rewarding.

Previous experience working in a similar role will be beneficial but not essential to your application.

Contract: Until 31st May 2018 – Though shifts might be available throughout Summer Period

Our Student’s Union Shop is currently looking to recruit Student Retail Assistants to join the existing team based at Bishop Otter Campus.

The Shop is a busy, vibrant convenience shop selling everything from Sandwiches to Clothing and is staffed almost entirely by students for students.

If you are a friendly, honest and conscientious individual with an interest in retail we would love to hear from you.

The hours offered are flexible to fit around your course work and the working environment although busy is both fun and rewarding.

Ideally we are looking for students who will be returning next year and therefore priority will be given to applicants who meet this criteria.

Previous experience working in a similar role will be beneficial but not essential to your application.
