Welcome to your official LGBT+ Society for 2022/23!
Our aim in this society is to create a safe environment for all members of the LGBTQ+ community, whilst welcoming all allies that wish to support us! We want to make your time at university the best possible time it can be – from small and intimate queer socials to drag nights hosted by our uni’s very own drag artists - we have so many things planned for you!
We are a diverse combination of students covering all walks of life that come together to make a beautiful community, so you won’t want to miss out!
We have a variety of Social Events lined up that should cater to everyone's needs and wants from us as a Society.
IN GENERAL, WE ARE THE LISTENING EAR FOR STUDENTS, WE CONTINUE TO BE AN ACTIVE, VOCAL GROUP FOR LGBT+ CAMPAIGNING BOTH ON CAMPUS AS WELL AS OFF-CAMPUS!
WE ALSO WORK VERY CLOSELY WITH THE LGBTQ+ OFFICER FOR THE STUDENTS UNION AND TO MAKE SURE YOUR VOICES ARE HEARD!
