Rotaract

President

Harry Heaven acts as president for the Rotaract society. Studying in his 4th year of BMus Vocal Performance, Harry sings tenor in many of the universities choirs. Outside of Rotaract, Harry does many things for different societies. Including being Music Director for both the Musical Theatre Society, and Acapella Society. Harry also acts as Welfare Officer for the Music society. Additionally, Harry sings as a tenor scholar at Arundel Cathedral and as a chorus member in NSO (New Sussex Opera)

Vice President

Hello all! I am Kiera and I am your Vice President! I am a fourth year BMus (Hons) Vocal Performance student and apprentice lecturer, and it is my job to ensure the smooth running of the club! I help Harry with the organisation of events and answer any queries people may have about the logistical side of things. I perform with the club frequently, and meet with our parent club to let them know what we are getting up to! I also run publications, so posters and Powepoints are usually done by me!?

When not working at Rotaract, I can be found lurking around the Conservatoire getting up to shenanigans with various orchestras and opera companies as a performer, saxophonist,  and even a director! I do a lot, but that is what I love. I am a great believer in the value of experience, and that is what we want to give to you!

Treasurer

Emily has just graduated with her BA in Music Performance and is now continuing to study at Chichester on the MA Music Performance course. Her main focus is on choral conducting, working closely with the Chamber Choir and this year's new Upper Voices choir. Emily sings at Arundel Cathedral as a choral scholar. She also enjoys playing piano, playing video games and watching Netflix in her free time!

Co-secretary

My name is Hannah Fisher! I am in my third year of studying Vocal Performance, and I am co-secretary for the Chichester Rotaract. ?My role involves taking minutes for the meetings, and keeping everyone up to date with what‘s happening. If anyone has any ideas for future events, let me or Howard know, and we will pass these on to Harry & Kiera! ?I am looking forward to being a part of the Rotaract Team, and I hope to bring a lot to the role, including my organisation skills. ?My interesting fact is that I own over 100 mugs, because I love a cup tea!

Co-secretary

My name is Howard Weyman I am co-secretary for the Chichester Rotaract. I am currently in my third year studying BMus (Hons) Vocal Performance and have previously participated in numerous performance events hosted by the Chichester Rotaract. My role involves working alongside Hannah in meetings and Rotaract events to support the society and provide opportunities.?

I am looking forward to becoming thoroughly involved in the Rotaract team and working together with society members. A funny fact about myself is that I used to think that moving house involved picking up your old one and dragging it to a new location. Two interesting facts about myself is that by the age of 6 I had climbed all the UK’s 3 peaks more than once via various routes and by the age of 8 I had swam 5 miles nonstop.

Welfare Officer

Hi my name is Jade and I am the Welfare Officer! My role is to look after the well-being of the members by monitoring their general welfare, level of engagement and morale. As well as studying on the BMus Vocal Performance course, I am a member of Chamber Choir, the Upper Voice Choir and Conductors Choir at Chichester University. I also sing with Treble Clefts (an all ladies choir) whenever I return home. I have recently fulfilled one of my ambitions which was to perform at Glyndebourne Opera House!
