Mental Health Support

If you are uneasy with any aspect of student life (first time away from home, new academic year, workload, friendships, living circumstances, money, health, relationships… anything), are worrying about people or a situation at home, going through a tough time, or you’re concerned about someone you know, the Student Wellbeing Advisers, UniMind and UTalk teams are here to help.

There are lots of resources including websites, apps, helplines and where to find help at the University listed online, we have listed some of them below and added a few useful links at the bottom of the page.

If you have questions, can’t find the support that you are looking or would like to talk to someone, do not hesitate to contact us (the SU), SIZ (Support and Information) 01234 816000 or the nursing team – 01243 816111 (during term time). We are all here to support you during your time at Chichester.

Wellbeing Pop-ups:

These run throughout the academic year in the LRC on both campuses when students can come down and meet 1:1 with a wellbeing adviser without needing an appointment, on either campus. This is a chance to talk about your mental wellbeing and to think about what support might be most helpful. If necessary, the wellbeing adviser can book you in for a further session with a member of the UinMInd team where we can discuss your needs further.
